The Warragul & District Kennel & Obedience Club Inc holds it's annual Championship Show on the Labour Day Holiday in March each year. A special sweepstake class for dogs bred and owned by the handler, known as the Roly Boxshall Memorial Trophy is a regular feature of the Show.

  Roly was a past Treasurer of the Club and the sweepstakes are held in his memory.


In Australia, dogs are shown in competition according to their breed, in one of seven groups.

Group 1 - Toys
Group 2 - Terriers
Group 3 - Gun Dogs
Group 4 - Hounds
Group 5 - Working Dogs
Group 6 - Utility
Group 7 - Non-sporting Dogs
